General
When can I play?
Aeulius is in pre-alpha. Alpha invites go out in waves to people who have requested access, and there is no public date yet.
Which platforms?
PC only, Windows at launch. The game is built and optimised exclusively for PC, and there is no console version planned.
Is it free to play?
No. Aeulius is buy-to-play: one purchase, the full game, no subscription.
Is there pay-to-win?
No. The shop sells cosmetics and convenience only. Nothing that affects power is sold, and that is not a policy we intend to revisit.
Can I play solo?
Yes. All story content is designed to be soloable. Dungeons and raids require a group.
Gameplay
How many classes are there?
Forty final classes. Ten base classes branch into twenty specializations at level 28 and forty final classes at level 40, across five attribute groups.
Can I change my class later?
No. Class choices are permanent. Choose carefully.
Can I change my kingdom later?
No. Your kingdom is permanent.
Does my race change my stats?
No. Every race starts with identical stats. Race decides how you look, where you wake up, what you ride, and the story you play through levels 1 to 5.
Is there open-world PvP?
Yes, in designated war zones from level 28, alongside casual battlegrounds and ranked arena. Aeulius is not a full-loot PvP game.
How big is the world?
Three kingdoms plus borderlands and the Central Continent: more than twenty distinct zones at launch.
Technical
What engine does Aeulius use?
Unreal Engine 5, with the gameplay written in C++ on the Gameplay Ability System.
Where are the servers?
Europe at launch. North America and Asia follow as the population grows.
How do you handle cheating?
The architecture is server-authoritative: the server, not your client, decides what happened. That is the foundation anti-cheat is built on.
What are the system requirements?
We have not published them. The current build has not been measured, and publishing a minimum specification we cannot stand behind would be worse than publishing nothing. They will appear here once they are measured.
Alpha & Account
How do I request alpha access?
Create an account on this site. That puts you in the queue; invites go out in waves.
When does the alpha start?
There is no announced date. Progress is tracked phase by phase on the roadmap, and the first waves are announced on Discord.
My verification email never arrived. What now?
Open the account page, enter your address and use Resend Verification. Check your spam folder first; the message comes from our own mail domain.
Can I stream or make videos?
Yes, once you have access. Alpha builds may carry an NDA; if one applies we say so clearly in the invite itself.
